ssh question

I can ssh into both of my linux boxes (debian and raspbain) with putty from my windows or android terminals and the raspbian server. I can log into the raspberry pi over the net.

the plan was to leave the pi on and shh into that and wake up the big debian box up with ethertool which I can do but I cannot seem to shh into the debian box from the shh connection I have on the pi?

I sussed it it was because i changed the default port in second machine.

Yep - always remember the "-p":

ssh user@ipaddress -p 223
scp -P 223 user@ipaddress....
