Hey fellas,
Just wondering how exactly one goes about setting up an SSH tunnel. Does it require an external server, or can it be done solely within a network.

Using PuTTy at the moment, just trying to fathom my way through it.

It's going to require machines at both ends of the tunnel. Whether that's an external server or not is up to what you're trying to do with it.
