Just want to check something before I start looking to buy an SSL cert.
I own a domain name (www.domain.com) and hosting through tsohost (cpanel) and have a DNS redirect (subdomain.domain.com) pointing to a webserver that is on my home network.
If I purchased a multi-domain certificate and filled out the SAN's with the subdomain, could I use it with my cpanel hosted website and also my webserver on my home network?
In a similar vein, I've got an Exchange Online account that's using another subdomain of my domain name. Could I also use a multi-domain SSL with that too?
I know a wildcard cert would cover me for any number of domains/subdomains but they are quite expensive when in reality I only really need the top level domain and possibly up to 3 subdomains to be secured.
