Looking on the DWP website it says to qualify for SSP you need to be earning at least £112 a week before tax. My normal contracted wage for 16 hours is £109 a week.So id miss out on SSP by £3.
However, i dont think ive ever done my contact hours since i started at the firm, usually doing between 20 and 30. So if i had to claim SSP would they work it out off my contracted hours or would they look at the hours ive actually worked in the previous weeks/months?
