why hasnt there been one for the ps3/xbox360 ?

been playing SSX 3 recently out of boredom and id forgotten just how awesome it is

Been waiting for so long, SSX 3 was wonderful

There was a hint in Burnout Paradise that they would be returning to the slopes in the holidays or something but it doesn't look like coming to anything.

SSX on tour was the last one (4th?) out wasnt it - had skis as well as boards... would be cool to get a new version out.. Have to say I preferred the presentation and structure of 3 compared to 4 but thought the ski's were a cool introduction even if just asthetically..

SSX 4 was the weak link in the series. SSX Tricky & 3 were fantastic, probably the only reason I still have my PS2.

SSX 3 was such a good game. I miss it so much. Me and my bro used to play it all the time. Cracking game. Is there any plan to bring it to the ps3 via the playstation store or just a new game? One of my faves of all time.

On Tour was a huge letdown, the presentation was irritating and they also messed up the controls which was the biggest mistake.

SSX3 is an all time favourite of mine.

No, who would have thought I'd be hating EA for not continuing a franchise? Would be an obvious money maker as there is hardly any snowboarding games and no really good ones (Amped was good but no multiplayer fail)

Edit: this is pretty recent and suggests they might be thinking about it, not soon though

Tricky is probably the greatest game ever... or almost I love it, still have my PS2 setup in the bed room just for playing that.

We need a next gen sequel. What else have the studio been working on? Please, no more Fifa Street games.

Just read that SSX3 works in compatability mode for the 360. Whilst i look for the disc can anyone tell me is it doesn't run like a dog.

SSX3 was a great game, but Tricky always seemed to have a bit more polish and fun.
In the same way as comparing GTA Vice City to San Andreas, Vice City just had more charm despite being a worse game technically.

The character voices, the music, and the presentation of Tricky were better than 3. Although I did love running down the whole mountain in 3

I'd love to see a new up to date one

Wow, its been so long since the last game id almost forgotten about this series. What the hell is taking them so long? seemed like a popular franchise and EA dont tend to let those go too long without regular updates :confused:
