St. David's Day

Went to a formal St. Davids Day dinner on Saturday...why on earth does a leek have to be your national symbol. We had to eat one raw standing on the table. Grrr.

Could be worse, you get a thistle on St Andrews day :p :D

Considering how Welsh my name is I ought to be doing more to celebrate really.

Araf, Dim Parcio, Dim Ysmugo, Yr Hen Orsaf, Ysgol, Henoed, Popty Ping.

Etc etc. Rubbish language! :p (Oh i cant wait to see the angry responses to that :D:D).

Lol yep it flowed very well...all night long! Those leeks are horrible! (Saying Army club makes it sound so gay! Its The Officer Training Corps :p).

If you ask around some of the advanced who joined in 2004-2005, a chap called 'Spotter' from Aber Coy called it Army club. It was such a doss when I was there (partly why I quit) that I took on that term for it as well.

Sandhurst=Sandbags :D

Sorry to go O/T anyway...
