So are we meant to make individaul threads now for pictures or should they still be going in the main thread? Anyway...

Headed down to St Marys to try out a new ND filter at sunrise. Not much luck really, the sun was non existent, the clouds weren't moving and to top it off I forgot a bit of my tripod used to secure the angle of the head which makes it completely useless.

Had my Gorilla pod so all was not lost but my heart wasnt really in it based on the above. Got the following shots, nothing spectacular but thought i'd share either way.



 
I don't think the composition works much, I think the top one would have been much better in portrait with a composition such as this:

Not at all!

I wasn't 100% happy with the composition either to be honest. Hadn't really considered a portrait crop. It certainly emphasises the effect of the ND filter.
 
Yep. I love ND filter effects sadly you have to get the right day to use them!

Another thing is you've got a couple of hot pixels but that's a usual occurrence on long exposures.
