Erm, at a computer.
Had a 57 plate Corsa SRi that i was very happy with, but the company i worked for went down the pan and it was a leased car.

Basically i have got 4k to spend on a new car and cant decide wether to buy an ST170, which i know are a lot faster, fairly cheap, but they are also group 15 insurance and drink juice.

I dont know why but iv always liked the look of the corollas, however i aint got the money for a sport model, it will have to be the 1.6 T3. Would i be mad to get the toyota over the ST?

Iv been mulling it around in my head for a few days and just cant make my mind up.

Any imput appreciated.

Why would you want a Corolla T3 1.6? Don't do it to yourself. Whilst it is bullet proof they are the most boring cars to drive ever.

Corolla T Sport appearing under £5k now...

189bhp...8400rpm rev limit. basically its a screamer of an engine, less torque than a Type R, but also cheaper, moddable and great fun. without being a tea leaf magnet,

most 182 i saw were coming up for a £600 cambelt change. the T Sport has a chain engine, no belt to change.

The Corolla Compressor is the only one I would own, but waaay above budget and you would never buy one for what else you could buy. Don't half shift though.

Older models possibly but they have known issues to be aware of.

You could pick up a mint ZT190 for under £4k if you're looking for a bigger car.

If size isn't an issue perhaps look at something like an MX-5, you'll struggle to find more fun within your budget.

Dont like CLio 172/182's, ideally looking for a htachback. Wouldnt touch an MX-5 with someone else's.

I aint a petrol head really, just like a decent looking motor thats got abit of grunt when required and has got an half decent interior.

Just seen a tastly ST170 on autotrader that i think ill have a look at tomorrow, their proabably the best motor for me with my budget.
