Hi guys,

I'm trying to get my i5 stable at 4.4GHz (4.5 required too much vcore). So far I've raised the multi to 44 and the vcore to 1.275, which is still unstable under intel burn test. Is there anything else you recommend doing to get it stable? I could raise the vcore again but I feel like maybe its something else that needs changing. I've got all my RAM timings set manually, so not sure what else to do? What kind of voltages should I be expecting to run it at 4.4?

Thanks

You run as much voltage as your chip needs; no more, no less. 1.275 is well inside safe voltages so you have nothing to worry about.

Yes. Sandy chips only really want vcore, other settings may provide some marginal stability results once at near the limit of an overclock but won't do much to get you there in the first place. For 4.4/4.5 you'll possibly need 1.35+ depending on your chip. Take that as a very rough guide as these chips vary in voltage req's a great deal.
