Stability issues

From your freeze pic its quite clear that its a graphics issue. There is a small chance that the PSU might not be giving it enough power but thats doubtfull as it powers the rest of your system fine. Ive never come across a faulty 6pin connector either.

Try underclocking the BFG especially the RAM.

Ok, so heres the update.

BFG have exelled themselves, they sent a courier to me.. and collected my card at their expense then they replaced my card within 2 hours and sent me a better one, instead of a 9800GT OC I now am the owner of a 9800GTX OC. Anyhow. I haven't fitted the card yet. Fingers crossed that will go ok and I'll report back tomorrow evening.

Ok Final post hopefully,

I have just installed the 9800 GTX and I am very happy, it ran all the way through 3dmark vantage and gave me a score, I'd never got that far before whats also quite scary is now its my memory in my machine holding me back on a windows experience score of 5.6 where stock it should all be 5.9

I MAY consider overclocking stuff at some point in which case I'll be back on the forums asking all sorts of n00b questions.

A quick work has to go to jeff koslowski at BFG who is a modern day saint.

Great news, sounds like BFG excelled themselves. They sent out a courier? Awesome! Free upgrade? Fantastic!

Don't take much from the windows experience scores, they don't really mean much at all.

Q6600 G0 will overclock nicely, and there are plenty of guides for that, it has been asked millions of times on this forum, so just search and you should find it.

Now go and enjoy some games matey!
