right ! Well I used to have this

2800mhz SanDiago, 1.55v core
2gigs OCZ ram
Epox NF3 Ultra Mainboard
6800GT AGP
470Watt Enermax

all SOLID AS A ROCK

Changed only to a NF4(standard) Epox board ep-9npa+
and a X1800XT 512Mb PCI-E (everything else same)

Now! Im only stable to 2761mhz, 1.55v core (n e more makes no difference)
and whole system is less stable !!

Windows occasonally boots from cold, when it does, it stays on for days though for some odd reason, USB2 stuff doesnt work, well it does once its booted into windows.

And just random rubbishness, whats going on ? im thinking I have a carp mainboard and am very very very stuck between a:

DFI NF4 Expert and the new Asus RD580, or wait for the DFI 3200, WHAT CAN I DO ? :(

I WANT my cpu at 2800mhz again (which I KNOW it can do) and usb stuff to work from cold boot, and for it to work in windows, I just want stable feature packed board ! :S

yeah, tried stabily testing, the FSB is at 251, 252 and it fails horribly, such a low FSB for an NF4 as well, thought mite be power problems, but I calculated im using 428watts in the very worst case scenario, thats with my 5 HD's, so my 470 should be fine.

Yeah thinkin poss the asus, will it give me a 255 fsb i require for 2800mhz, i should hope so, any more input ?
