What do you all do to "bed in" your new system once you've built it? I'm thinking of leaving Prime running blend for 8-12 hours overnight but I'm wondering if it's overkill?

But if you must then core temp to monitor mobo and cpu temps, gpuz to monitor graphics and maybe a bit of cpuz to make sure of any settings, then you can prod it with a stress test, like i said I just play games :)

Just have a 12 hour gaming session instead, way more fun :p

As much as I'd love to, my PC is currently in pieces on the dining table & I wanna make sure that everything is ok before I put in the case! I think my family want to be able to eat dinner at the table also :p

Lol put it inside and then test ...
Since you dont have case and its in other room the temps my differ a lot, so will the airflow. I would just put it in but dont tidy the cables or anything yet, just smack it in and if everything is fine then do the airflow stuff and fix it up.
