Hey
So I overclocked my 5820k to a safe bet of 45 multiplier and a 1.3v.
Stability wise it was rock solid It survived AIDA64, Heaven and Firestrike with a couple of hours of Arma thrown on top for good measure.
I got a little greedy and pushed to get it to 4.8 because I thought hell why not. and I got BSOD.
When I reverted my changes back to 4.5 it became unstable and I am not really sure why. Has anyone with more experience than my Gun ho attempt had a similar problem? and can it be fixed?
Currently running at 4.4 with a clock of 1.28v. I am a little worried I may be over voltage'ing it and doing more harm than good. can anyone assist?
Thanks in advance
