Hi

Every time i do a blend test with prime95 core 4 keeps hardware failure fatal error at around 18 mins into the test tryed it again and still fails, tempertures are fine not going over 60c at load .

my specs

Q6600(not go) @ 3.17ghz with pc2-6400/ 800 ram running at 353mhz,fsb 353mhz fsb ratio 1:1,cpu is at stock voltage 1.296v says cpu-z

any ideas anyone ?

should i up the chipset voltage or lower the fsb or what ?

thx

Hi again,I still have stabilty problem. ive upped the vcore voltage 3 notches from stock to 1.4v and the Q6600 is now running 3.2ghz how ever just ran small FFts with prime95 and core 3 failed at 1hour and 22mins and tempertures are getting around 65c to 70c now.any ideas ?

multiplyer @9 stock
whats the safe voltage to put though a Q6600 ?

last time it was core 4 that failed this time it was core 3 is it normal to have differnt cores failing each time ?

Tony what multiplyer you running your Q6600 @ ?

You can 1.5v through a Quad, but you must keep the load temps below 80c with Orthos. Besides the vdroop is usually pretty bad with the Quads.
How come other Ocs are running q6600 @3.6ghz stable without using the amount of vcore that im using 1.5v ?

Is it just the b3 quad that need a lot of juice to get it started or what ?
