i have unlocked my AMD Phenom II x2 560BE 3.3 Ghz CPU, I tried for 4 cores but core 3 was dead so i have it running @ AMD Phenom II x3 B60 3.4 Ghz.

I started Prime95 when i got up this morning 7:48 it is now 9:24 how long should i run it for before i say it's 100% stable.

Other setting changed are:
CPU Multiplier 16.5 now 17
V core from auto to 1.410
All other setting set to auto, Should i bump up the CPU north bridge voltage?

Motherboard - MSI 870-C45
My voltage options are:
CPU voltage - 1.410
CPU VDD voltage - Auto
north bridge voltage - Auto - Auto
north bridge VDD voltage - Auto

sweet, i was thinking it was ok but just wanted a second ok. What the best way to OC changing the FSB or the multiplier

2 hours Prime nowhere near long enough. A full loop of prime95 blend takes about 9 hours on a 3.6GHz quad - longer on slower CPUs. There's always the chance that it will be fine on the first loop but fail if you keep going.

Get some different tests in. Two weeks ago I did a 24/7 hour Prime Blend to test my CPU's unlock and overclock. Passed that fine but didn't last 5 runs of IBT. Needed more vCore to stabilise.

mmmmm. turns prime back on. is intel burn test any good?

It does the job. Added bonus is it often picks up instability in minutes rather than leaving Prime95 running for hours.

Would always recommend both though.

Also consider OCCT and a bit of gaming as they all stress the system in different ways.
