Stable OC, but trouble with POST

I recently tried my hand at overclocking, I thought it was going great. See I OC'd, booted windows, tested OC, restart, up'd OC, booted win... etc

I got to 2.7Ghz without a problem, at this point I shut my PC off and came back to it at a later date. This is where I realised I had a problem, see on a hard boot it switches on, I can hear the fans spinning and after a second it shuts itself down. It will then boot itself up again, and consequently shut down. It will cycle this process about ten time before it reverts to stock speeds and boots fine. As long as I can reach the BIOS and I can set the OC to a good speed, and after a soft reboot there is no problem.

Is this a voltage thing? I'm already getting 65c on load @ 1.4v, I don't really want to be raising it (I made a post about how I want to re-apply my thermal compound, maybe after that I can start raising the voltage again).

Thanks guys

I'm on F9 now and I think it's fixed :D

I know it was stupid of me to post this before updating my BIOS, but I just had it in my head that wouldn't fix it.

I'm not content yet though, I'm gonna see how it fairs in the next few boots.

Looks good so far though, thanks guys.

Set Pci express to 105, this does help overclocking

You could also up the pci-e to +.10, if you are going higher [G]mch and fsb up by another .10.
