Stablebit Drivepool not dealing with large files

Hi,

I have had drivepool installed for some time with no problems, however Im now getting a problem with the SSD cache filling up and causing large downloads to halt (due to there being no space on the cache drive) despite there being plenty of space on the drivepool.

Does anyone know how I might get around this?

I have a 128GB SSD in use as a cache, but it quickly fills up and when it does, it becomes impossible to add more data until you have completed a re-balance. which can take some time.

Can i ask why your using a cache? I use this to make a bigger drive out of a few smaller ones but i dont have cache set.

Improves read and write speeds as its SSD instead of HDD

Do you really need the increased speed for what you use the pool for?

Yes.

Anyone else tried this or know a bit more about drivepool?
