Hey, just bought stacker 831, and it can house 9 fans :O, 4 of which are fitted to an opening door as most of you are probably aware. i have searched all over the internet with no success, cant even find the door for the 830 or 832.

Secondly 9 fans - the 4 on the add-on door = 5. 1 comes on the back and 1 comes fitted to the hard drive, so that leaves 3.

I have fitted 1 to the roof, acting as an exhaust, so that leaves 2. Where do these go?! i cant see any fittings anywhere I heard they go in the 5.25" bays, but i cant see any fixtures that would hold a 120mm fan in place.

Anyone have experience or knowledge on how to solve this problem, because i need to get my air flow sorted if i want to overclocker my e5200 anything above 3.0ghz

Regards

Hi,

I used to own a 832 stacker. The other two optional fans are for additional hard drive caddies you only get supplied with one with the case.

so its 1 at the top, 1 at the back, 4 on the side and the possibly 3 in the front.

Hope this helps

Are you meant to try and maintain positive or negative pressure in the case? I've got a stacker 831 with just the two standard 120mm fans (and a Corsair PSU blowing air out). I'd like to add one into the roof and thought it might be better blowing air into the case to maintain positive pressure?

I posted in another forum aswell, and the guy told me that you can put 2 fans in the bottom, which i have done, and they blow air in, the one on the top and the one on the side blows air out, and the HDD one blows air in also.

This is giving me the best results.

Hope this helps.
