Stadia vs. Xbox One controller

So it looks like there are going to be a lot of Stadia controllers flooding the market after their recent giveaway

I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience with them, and how they compare to the Xbox One's. I have the latter, but always found the trigger buttons uncomfortable. Always thought the Playstation layout was much better.

Is the Stadia just a PS controller with Xbox buttons? Is the quality comparable? If so I'm sold, will use one for general (non streamed) gaming

Stadia, cannot be used wirelessly unless streaming on Stadia.
Gutted, as it's a nice controller

Hmm, but wired is OK for non-Stadia gaming?
