Well, in the current climate, which seems to be full of GENERIC albums which have a less than 6 month shelf life and will end up being in the 'Bargin Bin' in some shop no doubt we get Stadium Arcadium.

IMO this is a very good CD. What do you lot think?

Personally I think it's weak, though i'll admit to not exactly being a huge Chili's fan. Their simian front man is a truly terrible lyricist.

It's ok, but they've still gone more mellow and more pop influenced. But still, that song called "tell me baby" has a cool bass line, so simple yet so cool even if he is slapping on a Jaco Pastorius Fretless bass

It's OK - I listened to it after reading all the hype and people telling me it's the best album ever, and I was a tad disappointed.

I extracted the truth of the album

it is actually just 13 songs and the rest is there to test our faith as much as possible (like christians and dinosaus)

once you cut the crap out of it I would say that it would be close to if not the best they have ever done

It's not a patch on "By the way", but it's not bad. I'd probably give it 7/10 compared to 9.5/10 for By The Way.

Too long definately, there's a reason most albums only have 13 songs...

I miss the Chili's funk roots

Same with Incubus - they both lost their funk and went with the pop sound

It is Ok , but it is too long and just genrally fades in an out thee isn't any stand out songs.

All my mates at school kept saying how good it was and finally persuaded me to listen to it. TBH I'm glad I did because I love it

For me I like the Album!... its better than By the Way but still not up to 'Californication' or 'Blood Sugar Sex Magic'!!...
