Staggering 95 Degrees at load...

So I've had this HP Pavillion for near 3 years now and it's always been relatively hot but I never thought anything of it. So I was playing a game the other day and it overheated (like usual) so I decided I'd try and underclock or undervolt it.

Using orthos and CPUID hardware monitor I put it under a stress test (keep in mind it's a 2.66Ghz Dual Core AMD with 2gb RAM). After 3 minutes it hit a staggering 95 Degrees Celsius. I stopped the test and let the laptop cool down as I was aware it would soon overheat. But i have no doubt if I left it on for another 3 minutes it would've hit over 100 degrees.

[EDIT: Reran test and temperature rose to 105*C!!]

I just thought I'd share this since this is by far the craziest temperature I've had a laptop run at. :p

I'm about to undervolt it now to see if I can reduce temperatures, so I'll give feedback.

[EDIT: Undervolting by .075v on all multipliers has lowered by 6*C, continuing to lower...]
[EDIT: Undervolting by .125v on all multipliers and have experienced 15*C drop down to 92*C now. ]

Stable now

I'm now stable at around 80*C and undervolted all the way down to 1.025v from 1.125 on all multipliers.

Undervolting laptops is the best... :)
