I have the GEIL GX22GB6400UDC (first in the post). The SPD is programmed for 4-4-4-12 at 667Mhz and 5-5-5-15 at 800Mhz. Something to be aware of.

Most PC2-6400 has the SPD set to 5-5-5-x at 800mhz.

thinking off getting these over the 8000 g skill set,
GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 << any 1 know of any reviews about for them, cant find any

Kind of funny the £100 ones dont have heatsinks, but the £20 do?

Im still using the Ultra Low Latency ones, and theyre awesome for the price

What is the reliability like and where is the warrenty returns department? I am sitting on a brand new 2Gb 6400 crucial ballistix while watching a 2nd replacment set crash more frequently in games. Want something more reliable. Im not even overclocking, just 444 12, 800Mhz @ 2.1v (needs all of those volts).

Might go for 4Gb kit not sure.

HI there

Crucial have gone a bit downhill since they went to single sided configuration. The GeIL is double sided and GeIL holds one of the best reliability records at OcUK, in other words we get lower percentage of GeIL back than any other brand.

Warranty is lifetime and you just return it to OcUK. :)

Hi, I posted in GD but it got ignored.

I think it'll be ok, but just want to check, I've got the OcUK Ultima 4850 crossfire system which has Corsair 2GB 6400C4 DHX Dual Channel Memory on an X38 mobo. Can I install the 2x1Gb GeIL at the top of the OP alongside this without any problems to take me up to 4Gb?

I'm sure I've read posts where people have successfully mixed different brands of ram, but it's personally something I would never consider.

I've done it before with no ill-effects, but i understand it's not always clever.

Just wondered if anyone could think of any inherent reason not to?

GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5< went ahead an ordered these :) coming wed, cant use till sunday as it a present lol :) will let u all know how good/bad they are :)

well im sold but can someone tell me . will the ddr2 800mhz definatly work in my slots which only up to 667. i could be safe and just buy the 667 but its more expensive so theres no real point.

Anyone know if the Evo One modules are basically the same as the non-heatsink Black Dragon? So still have the red eyes hidden underneath, active or inactive?
