Question: Fortunately we can use it, but until we contact the highstreet retailer on Monday to order a replacement. Question being, is that the fridge has quite a few scratches already, and do not want to be in the situation of another delivery which is just as damaged. It was properly wrapped and the handle fully housed in polystyrene, so it must has happened at the manufactures AEG.

Anyhow any way of getting these scratches out with wet n dry, or is it one of those don't touch or you will make it worse scenarios?

Thx

why not contact the retailer today?

dont try and remove the scratch either, ask for a replacemnet or refund

id ask for a replacement. its your best bet. if they wont do one contact the delivery side of things. if not still then id just leave it .

oh well, guess you can only wait then

from a legal perspective i wouldnt touch the scratch at all

also from a technical view i wouldnt recommend trying to remove it, you will never match the look of the rest of the stainless and more likely would end up having to rebuff the whole face, even then it would require a lot of skill to get it to look right

it looks to me like a scratch on the plastic coating over the SS, or is there a whole sheet of plastic stuck to the fridge? lots of SS items get delivered that way.
