i hope it keeps its wide open world and doesnt become a corridor shooter like metro,it would be nice if they actually optimised it properly aswell.

the old stalker games still run a bit crap considering how powerful todays hardware is

i like the differences in stalker games but there is deffo something that needs tweaking . you either want to play or think no its too much hassle unlike a lot of other games.

Was it just a GOG-style stunt? :p

'Reggae Greats'? :D http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Ganja

Great that it's being worked on, though I'm sure most of us thought it would eventually anyway. I just hope they don't make something that loses all association with what made Stalker so unique.

Yavorsky talked to on the phone about STALKER 2. The situation is as follows: the team is currently in talks with potential investors, looking for people willing to invest in the development of the game. The project is still in limbo, but there is hope.

UPD: Grigorovich is not yet ready to make any statement to the public or the press.

:confused::o

Can anyone explain to me what the **** is going on with GSC Gameworld and this whole 'shutting down' fiasco? Absolutely cacked my knickers when they said they might be shutting down, not they're not? Either way, this is excellent news.

They cancelled the game
They are shutting down
They are thinking about it
They are working on it again
They are in talks about getting more money to work on it again

:p

i for one though hope that this is a step in the right direction and that they do infact release their new game.

The original stalker series though difficult to get in to at first; has to be one of the most amazing, immerse games that I have ever played.
