As its a newer game i thought it would have higher system requirements, but after a bit of research, it looks like it might run smoother than the original game? I run a 9800gtx 512mb, e6400 @2.8ghz and 4gb of ram, i recently made the step up to a 1920x1080 screen but didnt notice that much of a fps drop.

Should it run ok? Also is the game an improvement over clear sky?

thanks

There is a free benchmark you can download and try for yourself. Play around with the settings to get a playable framerate and then decide whether your rig is up to the job.

Oh and to answer your other queation, it's very similar to the first one in how good of a game it is. The 2nd one is the best out of the 3 IMO. Not that the other too are bad. I wasted hours on the first one and thoroughly enjoyed all three.

It performed more or less the same as Clear Sky for me, COP is a good game, just not as good as the other two. The enviroments are bigger but don't seem to be as creepy as the previous games, the third area is good, but the game just feels a bit empty at times.

Another thing that put me off is how easy it is to make money in the third game, within an hour or two of playing it's possible to have enough money to buy an exo-suit and some of the best weapons in the game. It spoils the challenge a little.

I found the stuttering just ruined the game and i will not play it untill its fixed.
Its a shame theres not a iFPSClamp setting in the configuration like fallout.

Runs fine in terms of FPS, but as Tomtom said the game has a noticable stutter every 10-15 seconds or so of running around. Nothing I changed fixed it so I put it down to a bug in the game.
