I am looking for the best mods for stalker clear sky.

Best possible texture pack

Realism mode much like oblivion lost.

The Complete mod is probably the most well known. There doesn't seem to be quite as many mods for Clear Sky as SOC.

I'd second the Complete mod, they do tweak the game very well and generally 'polish' the game up.

The complete mod i have. It only seems to add graphical enhancements. It doesnt seem to tweak the overall gameplay.

One thing that also annoys me about stalker is i have to hold down the aim button. Isnt their a way to toggle aim?

I have installed the mod anwith or without it, the game runs rubbish and slow. Is it the crossfire?j

Do you have anti-aliasing enabled? If so, turn it off and watch the fps jump up.

Also, are you at the Clear Sky base? That makes even some of the better set-ups run slow. The god rays / light shafts really can bring a gpu(s) to its knees. However, in other areas you should be fine.

It must be the coding on the game, no way can it run this slow. I am getting around 40 fps. Thats just rubbish.

40fps for a single gpu will more than likely be a smoother experience than when using multi-gpu. That said, when I had my 4870X2, I found Clear Sky performed well - that is when I wasn't at the Clear Sky faction base...and especially when I lowered / turn off AA at the same time.

My lord, what is the point in CF. Do you know of any realism mods? I don't like emptying a clip in someones face to kill them.

There isn't the volume of mods available for Clear Sky as there is for SHOC or COP. Apart from 'Complete' and 'Faction Fronts', I haven't played any other Clear Sky mods.
