STALKER Complete 2009 - [MOD]

I'd have prefer the more gloomy look for a post apocalyptic FPS than a rather 'Ahh hahhhhhhh' (Holy silverlining chant seen in screen shot 4 and 6 on post #2) Too 'perfect'.
 
This looks absolutely awesome, i know what im gonna be doing tonight now. I loved Stalker when it came out but i never finished it due to my PC dying at the time. I got pretty far too, must have only had a couple of hours to go in it. Looks like im starting from scratch, but thats the whole point of getting this mod. Nice.
 
In stalker do you still have to talk to people and interact. I cant be bothered with games like Oblivion and even Deus ex was too much talking for me.

Not really, you obviously need to talk to people to expedite the story, but you don't have to talk to others, though a couple will give you side missions.
 
That looks excellent, might finally get me to play through the game. And Stalker isn't supposed to look dark and post-apocalyptic, it's not like its set after a nuclear war, or even explosion.
 
I haven't played Stalker yet, even though I bought it on Steam aeons ago!

Should I play it through Vanilla the first time, or use this mod?

It's set in the area surrounding Chernobyl and the city of Prypiat after the reactor meltdown, which involved nuclear material and an explosion :)

Definitely use this mod, its great.
 
Make sure you patch stalker to the latest before installing this mod :D

Also don't forget to patch the mod think its 1.2.7 or something..
