STALKER Complete 2009 - [MOD]

To get better weapons early on.

Sneak into the military warehouse south of the cordon.

Kill all of the military and get their AKs, or if you are lucky one or two Obakans

As soon as they see me I get shot with aimbot style precision and took down to 50% health and bleeding, it takes half an MP5 clip to kill anyone and half the time my bullets just go around them, rather than into them. I have got the game set to it's hardest setting either, it's on the one up from Novice.

PS. It's not my aim either.. and I'm shooting in bursts :p

It's renowned for being very tricky at first. It doesn't help that the MP5 is woeful at range. Try to get to The Dark Valley as soon as you get into Garbage (it's the next zone to the right from the entrance to Garbage). There is a very easy quest that gets you a scope for the AK's, and you should be able to easily pick up an AK to fit it too.
 
Trying to sneak into that military base isn't easy mind, but yea it would be worth it for the weapons you can pick up ... once you get a scope and a gun that's not too degraded then you can hit people pretty easily, just don't fire for too long - single shot is best I find as otherwise you miss with 99% of your shots!
 
You can cross the road to the east from the rookie camp right up to the fence and follow it south, to the fallen tree.

Climb on the tree and jump over fence to the south.

Follow the fence, until you are level with the rubble outside the military base.
Head towards the rubble, sneak onto it and over the fence.

Jump onto the small hut inside the base, and onto the roof.

This is a good starting point to kill a few of the military, but you will need to grab one of their AKs and ammo to kill them all.

Its not easy at the start of the game, but practice makes perfect.
 
It is a hard game but with perseverance and tactics you'll find that you can over come most obstacles. When I started playing I struggled quite a lot but now its relatively easy. Don't do anything too rash. Think before you do and remember to take your time, sit it out and just hang back and watch people moving around so you can get an idea of any patterns.
 
Looks good. Could never make it through stalker for some reason but i'm going to have another bash with this......installing now. Taking forever though reading from my blu ray drive as my dvd drive has gone boom. Does the mod need v1.0005 installed first?

Yup. Get 05 and Complete 09, then start a new game.
 
Just completed the whole game using this mod and I must say, it was awesome. Sometimes, I found myself just standing around looking at objects and landscapes, it's that beautiful.

That said, whilst there's no real reason not to go straight with this mod, I would still play vanilla SHOC first, since it has a unique feel which the mod changes somewhat; whether that's a good or bad, it's up to you.
 
Hey guys, i just got back into this game after never having completed it. Are there any mods you reccomend to use with this one?

I was looking at the stalker world overhall mod v 3 and camos ninja stealth mod, does anyone know if these are compatible with stalker complete?
