Right click the Stalker icon, properties, and add the -noprefetch to the end of the target, as per here :)
Aye did not work, and for some reason stalker just turned off my extend onto second monitor option and left the monitor with a lot of corupted graphics on it...

Tried a few fixes from that site, altered loads of settings, updated drivers, even tried a nodvd thing as sugested in the main stalker post, nothing will work, reading on the of forums a lot of people with ati having probs, but most of them sorted them with the above measures :(

Coudln't say as I gave up on the game. It's not finished imho.
Aye sadly, but I realy want to play this, it looks good (Sat watching room mate) but so far I only find people with nvidia that have it working fine :(

Its been working fine on my rig with ATI. Perhaps uninstall the game, double check you have all the latest drivers in your system, and its all stable etc, then reinstall and repatch, incase something was conflicting.
Have updated to latest ATI Drivers, and reinstalled, still doing the same thing :(

Yeah i think patch 3 will have fixes for ATi cards, or they will be on the 2nd one, been that long i forgot as the 2nd patch was due weeks ago, but aint appeared yet and 3rd is now due, but bugger knows if the 2nd aint appeared yet, hopefully they'll roll both of them into one. :)
Ah that sounds good then :) Shame I have to wait tho.... But I suppose its a good thing, I do have 3 courseworks, and a few exams to do in the next 3 weeks

Just tried on another PC, 3800+ X2, 1900XT 512MB, 1GB Ram, same problem, 1 min into game CTD
