ok im getting pretty sick of this.

Im finally at chernobyl (i think) and have entered the power plant. However, there are high levels of radiation and i cant get anywhere whithout having to inject and bandage myself quite literally every 10seconds. Plus, the bad guys that are in there are manageing to kill me with a single shot no matter what i do.

Also, its not like you can quickly bandage yourself, the interface is a nightmare!

And the worst part? I cant get back out in order to find someone who can give me better weapons and gear. the ladder that you take to get into the reactor has collapsed!

I feel like ive come to a complete dead end and i really dont want to have to load up an older saved game! I can go forwards because i either die from the baddies or the radiation. I cant go backwards because there is nowhere to go.

Any tips on the radiation side of things? I even came to a point yesterday where i was scanning the web for cheats.............. didnt find any...

You need the radiation suit..

the big orange one - yeh, im wearing that - still getting cained with radiation though. Plus it doesnt offer much protection against the baddies bullets!

what artifacts are on your belt....probably find that's the big cause.

and do what i did, the 4th and 5th mouse button are for bandages and large medi kits

Bandages and Medkits are mapped to [ and ] aren't they?

There is a known bug that if you save while being radiated you can't get rid of the radiation, perhaps you suffer from that?

But first unequip all artifacts and see if that helps.

brilliant, ok ill get rid of the artifacts. Thats good advice, i remeber reading verious reviews of the game saying that they were usually next to useless in the grand scheme of things!
