Which are the best mods to play with? One which work with the latest official patch (1.005).

Sorry to hijack. I have just installed the faiakes2.4 mod and i was wondering if i can use the SHAPER textues mod and the the stalker skies mod along with it, is it possible if so how. Sorry if its a dumb question but i am a mod noob;)

ATTENTION 1.0005 USERS!
You will need to modify the current_server_entity_version in system.ltx or the game will crash every time you try to load.

Just open /database/config/system.ltx with notepad, find "current_server_entity_version" and set the value to 7 so it looks like this:

current_server_entity_version = 7

Quit and save.

Bit confused with instructions

0. DELETE the float32 shaders ([gamedata] > [shaders] folder) prior to use this version of my mod

0.5 delete (move) the [gamedata] > [textures] > [sky folder] if you have it in your Stalker installation dir - do it also if you are updating form 1.1

Im sure when you install Float32 it makes the gamedata folder (as its not there when you do a fresh install of the game), so delete the shaders folder from within that if you have got Float32 installed, if you don't have Float32 on, then you wont have the gamedata folder, so no need to worry about deleting anything, and the Sky folder, im sure thats the Stalker Skys mod, so if you have got that, i think when you extract it, it makes the Sky folder, and then you drag that into the gamedata folder that Float32 made, or you install it, and it puts the Sky folder in there automatically, i forget, but those instructions are just for if you have already installed the Float32 mod, and the Skys mod, which you'll have to remove first before installing this mod, i think, but if your on a fresh install of the game with no mods installed, then you don't need to do any of this. :)
