Stalker no widescreen support?

Just finished downloading Stalker off steam as it was a steal @ £3.50 but i am unable to select a widescreen res of 1650x1080 which is native for my screen. According to the patch notes i should be able to but the option simply isnt there in the menus. Is there something i can do to force a widescreen res as its cropping the image horribly atm

strange as I bought stalker today on steam and I get that resolution in the list, was at the very bottom as im using it to play it.

It could be the graphics driver, but I wouldn't have thought so

it should have 1650x1080 look here

Fixed the problem. For some reason the scroll bar when selecting resolution would not work at all so i could not scroll to the correct res. Re-installing did not help but a new mouse driver did.
