Stalker Problem

:O Another problem thread

This one concerns a friend of mine. Hes running off the specs below:

His graphics card is an Asus 8800GTS 320mb.

Now, he tried to get a screenshot of his problem but Stalker wont let him do it, so here is his awesome description:

it doesnt load any of the items, i can hear the man talking and see the radar, i can also move around the room, but not out of it, i can do eveything except "see" the level and i cant interact with the man. i see what i presume is the default background a blue sky with clouds

I know this is rather vague but if anyone has any idea whats happening please dont hesitate to post!

Yeah, he installed the patch, and tried with administrator and compatibilty settings

He just spent a truckload on a new pc so I dunno if he'll be trying that anytime soon
