So ive seen some vids of stalker. Is it worth getting? what games can u compare it to? some of the screens made it look like oblivion. Should i get the first one to understand the story better or can i just go to the second, i thought the vids for the second looked better. Just wanted your thoghts on this

I assume you mean the first game, Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl. If you like first person with an rpg mixed together then you should enjoy it. I would play them in sequence with the 'complete' mods. So, for the first game use the 2009 complete mod, turn out the lights and play for a couple of hours and see what you think. ;)

they are good but like the guy said above DEFF go for the complate mod. It changes the way the game looks fully! I allways get bored tho as most of the quests are texted based rather than voiced.. and tbh i get rather board of sat there reading for too long -_-

I like the text myself. Allows more dialogue and repeated voices kill immersion for me. I prefered Morrowind to Oblivion in this respect. Swear they had no more than half a dozen voice actors for that game.

Btw, I'm from Taunton ;)

Just started palying this game recently, does the complete mod make much of a difference, or should i play it though without and then do the mods?

Played for a ehile with the mod and what a difference it makes! The game is just soo much more immersive. So OP definatly worth a buy especially if you go for this mod aswell :D.

The good thing with that mod is it doesn't change the "way it's meant to be played" at all like a few of the others. So it's great for first time play throughs.
