Stand/head ?

Hi guys have the quest 2 and store it within a hard case (kiwi) when not in use, but like the pics where people have it on a stand or fake head.
What are you guys using when you are not using the quest ? Don’t really want to spend loads but like something I can put the quest on.

Mine goes in the official Oculus case I got with the Elite Battery strap. I won't risk dust or sunlight getting into the lenses.

My Index sits on top of my PC (No vents in the top), covered by a cloth to keep dust and sunlight away.

I put in on top of my computer, or hang it from a hook where I used to have a Pulley system.

Well I was going to keep it on the head of my full-size love doll, made up to look like Angela White complete with her own personally modelled Fleshlight™... but the wife borrowed Angela a while back and still hasn't returned her, so until then my HTC Vive CV1 just lives in the box it came in.

You could possibly get a free ex-display mannequin head from a shop or something. Just fix it to a sturdy, weighted base (fill it with sand, perhaps?) so it doesn't tip over when the headset is on.

The main issue with storing the headset on a dummy is if the headset is on standby the proximity sensor will turn it on. So you'd have to turn it off, but that's good practice anyway.

mine goes into a lowepro case designed for those little flying drones
managed to get like £100 off from ebay store

mines got extras attached to the headset, so not many cases this would fit in

i bought the "AMVR VR Headset and Touch Controllers Display Stand, Helmet & Handle Holder Mount Station for Oculus Quest 2"
from amazon for about £20. i think its ok to mention it as oc's don't sell vr stands afaik. does the job, nothing fancy.
