stand removal for wall mount

I know you emailed me about this as well and must be desperately in need of some help, but of all of the monitor manufacturers I've had experience with Hanns. G isn't really one of them. It doesn't look like it just clips or slides off easily and I have no doubt you will have tried this gentle approach. Sometimes they require a bit more force - not so much that you are trembling and getting annoyed as that tends to break things. Sometimes there are screws you need to loosen up. What is the model number and do you have the instruction manual to hand? It is always a good thing to keep.

i saw some dude on you tube with the same hanns monnys as me 28" ones, he had them in a triple screen layout on a rig, however half of the stands were still attached to the monitors, it looked daft. when i say half of the stand what i mean is there are two parts to the stand, the neck(your pic) and the oval base plate that you can easily detach.

anyway the guy says the reason he never took the neck of is because hanns said it would void the warranty which makes me think its a back cover off job, i know your bro's is a 22 but maybe the same applies

Are you sure the monitor is wall mountable?

Looking at their website only some of their 22" monitors have a VESA mounting.

On the ones that do the entire stand is removable and on the ones that don't only the bottom base part of the stand is removeable.
