I wouldn't even bother with the Jimmy Carr one, I like the guy but his standup is awful, imo.

Other than that, they all look promising.

Jimmy Carr can be very witty when he gets heckled. I love his delivery.

There's no substance to his standup though. It's just one liners-yes, he can be very witty, but if he wants to do that he should stick to doing quiz shows (which he is very good at in fairness).

Russell Howard's DVD is out soon apparently, could be worth getting.

On one hand you are criticising jimmy carr (fair enough)... but on the other. you are saying Russell Howards Dvd might be worth getting...

yeah... if you want to spend an hour feeling embarrassed by his totally crap comedy!

wonky eyed pleb

Isn't that the guy who tells very dated gags that were never funny back in the fifties, then "spices" them up with liberal use of the most taboo words he can imagine?
That's the ****.

On a related note, I wish Rhod Gilbert and David o'Doherty would hurry up and release some DVDs. I don't think there's going to be anything from them before Christmas :(

I bought the Jimmy Carr one the other day, thinking it was the one for the tour he's doing now, and its not unfortunatelly. :(.
Did think it had come out too quick. :p.

Woah woah woah, lets not forget Jim Davidson ;)

I think Frankie Boyle is really bad at stand up. Its just a endless list of one liner jokes :/
