Standalone skype phone?

I'm after setting up a skype/voip system so we can speak family and friends abroad.

Can I buy a handset that plugs straight into my router? Or can any recommend a cheap way of doing it? Maybe build a gateway of some sort?

What about a wireless Skype handset that uses wireless LAN? Belkin and NetGear both do one.

If you have a mobile phone capable of wireless, then there is probably a version of Skype for it....drains the battery something awful on my Winmob, but works fairly well
