Standalone Subwoofer ?

My new Motherboard has separate audio out / subwoofer / rear speaker and SPDIF.
I'm currently using a pair of BISE Companions 2 in the Audio out but thought I could maybe get a small standalone subwoofer under the desk? I presume subwoofers in nature are too big to be on the desk.

What motherboard is it?

I've never known a motherboard to have a separate subwoofer output. It's usually part of 5.1/7.1 outputs and shares the centre channel output.
