Firstly, iwould like to say i use overclockers a lot for my parts and also contribute greatly to this forum.

Right time to rant.

I place an order yesterday at EXACTLY 16:30 (on my rerceipt) and i selected as a delivery date 04/07/08 (TODAY). I have found out that it will not be arriving till Monday because i quote:

"Becasue we were very busy yesterday and you placed it right on the cut-off
and the orders have to go through security validation, it wouldnt have
arrived with you untill monday. Therefore the rder will arrive with you on
monday "

This i am afraid is NOT good enough. Why does your website state 16:30 as the deadline when in all reality it isnt as it all depends on how busy OcUK are :mad:

I phoned up and the guy said that even if i had placed it at 16:29 then it still wouldnt have gone....what a load of c.rap and utter garbage service. :mad:

Perhaps your clock is 5mins slow?

I would say its your own fault for leaving it so late.

To the OP, any company is the same so close to order cut off. Especially if your comp clock is not in sync with theirs. I doubt everyone runs synced off the atomic clock either.

id say the OP has a right. he paid for an advertised service, IMO he should get his money back.

Next day delivery shouldn't have been an option if it had gone beyond the cut off point. A refund for the difference in postage should be given IMO.

Leaving it a bit late there (and no I don't work for the shop).

If you have a problem speak to the shop about it as shop workers don't actively browse the forum.
