I've recently moved into a new apartment, and just noticed when I put my pc into sleep, it tripped the lights and I had to go reset the fuse switch. Should I worry?

It didn't happen the last few times I slept it... so could just be coincidence?

Surge suppresor wear out with use after it absorb enough surge it will stop functioning. If you got a quality surge suppresor it will come with 2 indicators to indicate that it is still working the other light indicates whether the line is properly grounded and polarized.Suppresor that is more than 1 yr. old is probably not working anymore and is just functioning as a power strip.Maybe its just a coincidence just as you say.
