Hey guys.

Ive ordered a new motherboard as I suspect 2 of my blue dual channel slots are faulty and not detecting my RAM.

This is the mobo

Asus M4A78LT-M

But anyway, everything works fine apart from those 2 slots. One thing ive noticed though, that the Standoffs that come with the Coolermaster 912 Plus case dont go in fully as they should, they go about half way. What can I do about this ?

At the moment its fine, but when I get the new motherboard I want to make sure the standoffs are in properly.

Hey there.

I haven't tried anything yet. I've looked inside the case and the motherboard is not touching back of the case or anything, so I think a short is not going to happen, since my GFX and CPU are working fine. I will leave this till monday.

Just incase ive done it incorrectly and this might have caused my 2 blue ram slots not to work, I will make sure on Monday when my new motherboard arrives that everything is in fine so I dont experience this again.

Thanks for the help mate ;)

If you try your old motherboard first, once you've sorted out the standoffs, you may not need the new one and you could send it back under DSR.

Nah, I could have done with an upgrade anyway. Dont think it will be needed. Will try to sell this one on the Bay and see if anyone is interested.
