Here's the rig spec:
PSU: Seasonic S12 430W
Motherboard: Abit KT7A RAID (latest BIOS)
CPU: Athlon XP-m underclocked @ 11 x 100 (1.125Vcore)
RAM: 640MB
GFX: ATI Radeon 9200
HD: 250GB IDE Maxtor thing
WIFI: Belkin thing
Soundcard: Audigy 2 (KX drivers)
Now, I've done prime blend and the other CPU stress one for 8 hours each, the temps stay low and I get no errors. But sometimes, out of the blue, the whole machine just resets, then boots up again as if nothing happened.
No BSD of death, just instant reset!
It does this weather I'm running Windows XP or Xubuntu. Now, the only thing that I think may be causing this is possibly the GFX card or some bad capacitors on the motherboard... I should be getting another GFX card tomorrow, but does anyone know what causes this and is there some way of fixing it as it's really annoying!
