Stange PS3 Pro Evo problem??

Whenever I win a cup competition in single player (which isn't that often tbh

), I select to go back to main menu at the stats screen and the game just goes black. Can still hear crowd noise, but the console goes unresponsive and the game just sits there. Arggggh!

At first I thought it was just a freak occurence, but it's done it consistently at the same point for both International Cup and the Asia/Pacific Cup.

Anyone else have this problem?

Going by the FAQ on Konami, I suggest not installing the game on your HDD and disabling autosave. This seems to stop the game crashing. There have been rumors floating around the net that the patch will be out in the next few days. Although, it is unconfirmed.

also make sure you have all your background downloads off as this is also another known problem, sorted mine out while i had it.... now traded in for fifa, very dissapointed with this years and its the first pro evo ive not got into since the originals and i was also a very keen ISS fan
