Right, first of all spec:
q6600 @ 3.6 = watercooled and 8hrs+ p95 stable
Gigabyte p35 ds4 r1
8gb OCZ ram
1tb F1 HD
8800gt
Belkin Broadcam 4306 wifi card.
I installed Ubuntu first, and after installing fwcutter and downloading the firmware, my wifi springs to life, and I can connect fine.
I then installed Windows XP pro x64, and found the Broadcam 4306 card straght away. Now, it does connect if the computer is right by the router, but as soon as I have it more than a few metres away, it won't connect in Windows.
Ubuntu works fine, and I get great reception much further away. Why is this and how can I fix this so wifi works properly in Windows?
