Try as I might I am failing. I have followed several tuts on the 'net but I still can't win. Like many people I am trying to get Coretemp to run at startup without intervention. Is this actually possible or has UAC really screwed it for me. Sorry if this is old news. I am running Vista x64.

Yeah I am running the lastest version. When the PC starts I simply get the windows defender has blocked programs from starting balloon. If I got into the balloon Coretemp is marked unclasified but does have a tick. Then of course when I click run, I get the permissions window.

If you type"Core temp Vista 64" into Google, there is what appears to be an answer to your problem...

Ah, Sorry, I didn't realise that the advice given on the site would disable security...I'm a bit paranoid about security myself after suffering some problems in the past...hope you manage to find a solution.
