Star Control: Origins - New game from Stardock Entertainment

Anyone playing this ?? I just started playing it yesterday after watched BikeMan playing it for a bit, the dialogues are down right funny on occasions and from looking at the map, it seem to be huge.

So if anyone else playing it, what's your thoughts about the game ?

No, but the only reason I haven't bought it is because I've got a Kickstarter game coming out on Tuesday and I don't want to distract myself.

The Star Control games (especially the second!) from the 90s were some of my favourites, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they've come up with!

This did not review well from what i last saw. I will wait 6 month's or so for improvements and a price cut.

It's rubbish. I soon lost interest with the comedy vibe and more particularly, the planets you drop on are just different coloured rocks. They look and feel nothing like planets, it's awful.

I alt + f4 after about 90 mins and uninstalled. Like above the planet sections of the game are woeful and the comedy tires REALLY quickly.

I suck at Strategy games anyway, so will pass on this one.
