Star Ocean new details

Bit more info on the new Star Ocean games at TGS this year, next-Gen.biz have translated the recently released Famitsu scans and found important news: Star Ocean 4 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive. This is not confirmed yet, but they said it will be a console exclusive, by the scans in the mag its not the Wii, and all info points to the PS3, but as we know it all may change.

US, September 7, 2007 - Square Enix has opened a portal site for what should be one of its biggest Tokyo Game Show franchises this year, Star Ocean. The portal highlights all games in the series, but the focus is, of course, on the three new games, Star Ocean First Departure (PSP), Star Ocean Second Evolution (PSP) and Star Ocean 4 (platform TBA).

According to the page, the PSP remakes of parts one and two will be playable at the show. Star Ocean 4 will see a video trailer, as confirmed by the game's producer in a recent issue of Famitsu.

Be sure and check out the Star Ocean 4 portal site as you wait for TGS to kick off on 9/20.

Might be a noob question, but what the heck is Star ocean? I've never heard of it :confused:

Rpg's made by Enix, who are now part of Squaresoft.

3rd game (Till the End of Time) was great. never finished it though. Looking forward to this. Might be another reason to get a PS3 if it is an exclusive.
