Anyone here play this?

The mod just keeps improving year after year which is pretty impressive considering it started in 2003 and has transformed the original game almost completely.

Check it out if you like Star Trek and/or RTS games, it's really good.

I just got it again recently after about a year and it's better than ever, though it's been good for years now imo, never tried it before about 2008 though, i used to play the original Armada and mods before then.

Sadly yeah, even though it doesn't appear to use any files off the cd now it still wants one, it's a bit tricky/expensive to get hold of legitimately, the game hasn't been sold for six or more years and seems like abandonware, so if you can get hold of it somehow it's worth it i think.

I've still got a retail copy of this and 2 retails copies of armada 1 in my drawer. Might have to have a go or sell them if the demand is high.

It's been ages since i last played this, they're still improving the mod year after year and site looks a lot better now, definitely a mod worth checking out for those interested.

Even if you don't have it i wouldn't feel too bad about getting hold of it somehow, the game hasn't been sold for years and i don't think the developer is still around, also the mod changes pretty much everything.
