Star Trek Online - Crashes

Hi all, I haven't played this game since last year but with Sky having all the Star Trek movies on show I thought I'd have another blast at shooting Borg.

I recently upgraded my PC from a 2009 spec;
Dual Core > i5
4gb RAM > 16gb RAM
DDR2 > DDR4
GTX 750 > R390
Win 7 > Win 10

I reinstalled the game last night, and straight from the off it crashed. I had a warning pop up in the lower right corner from stating Drivers had stopped and were recovered, I therefore have a feeling its going to be AMD compatibility but have yet to have a proper online search.

Thought I'd post on here first to see if anyone already has searched and found an answer to this issue?

Hi mate try uninstalling the gaming evloved app. If you re-install the AMD drives just uncheck the gaming app option

make sure drivers are completely up to date and that your install is clean (no re-use of old files). after that assuming you can at least get to char select try changing the DX version and see if that helps.

game crashed like mad for me on the tribble test server when i switched to AMD but holodeck (live) has never crashed for me.

also, with 10, make sure they are AMD's drivers, it likes to replace them with its own even when you tell it to stop mucking with drivers.

Driver reinstall after a clean worked, plus unchecked box for the gaming evolved app.
